Former Faculty Member to Celebrate Milestone

CDPConventImageThe Bishop Forest High School faculty members provided the intellectual and religious education resources as well as the professional instruction that gave each of our alumni the springboard to adulthood.  The skills we learned and the human and religious values developed last a lifetime. We all remember those teachers who played an important roll in our high school education. Many were religious priests and nuns, and many were lay people.  All of our high school faculty had a firm commitment to Catholic education and gave of their time and talents to help each of us grow and become responsible women and men.

One of those faculty members is Sister Adrienne Marie Schmidtzinsky, CDP.  Sister Adrienne Marie served both as a BFHS teacher and school principal in the 1950’s and 1960’s.  She professed her religious vows in the Congregation of Divine Providence seventy five years ago and a jubilee celebration commemorating this milestone will be held in her honor on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at the Sacred Heart Conventual Chapel, Our Lady of the Lake Convent, 515 S.W. 24th Street, San Antonio, Texas.  The Eucharistic celebration will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by a reception in the chapel auditorium.

Sister Adrienne Marie is looking forward to this jubilee celebration.  If you are one of the alumni whose life she has touched and you wish to honor her, send here a card.  She would love to hear from you.

Thank you Sister Adrienne Marie for all you have done for Bishop Forest High School and its alumni.
