Classmate in Need of Prayers
To BFH Alumni and especially class of ’66….I just found out Andrew Dittrich had a stoke earlier this year and isn’t doing well. Andrew lives in Sacramento and I talked to his brother this morning and found out he is in a rehab in the area. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.

George E. Rainosek
George E. Rainosek of Wimberley, Texas passed away Monday Sept. 16, 2013. A memorial for George will be held on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013 at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Wimberley, Texas.. The church is located on Ranch Rd. 12 pass the town square. George graduated from Bishop Forest High School in 1966. Fellow classmates are asked to remember him and his family at this difficult time.

Bonnie Winkler, class of 1966, passed away on February 19, 2013 in Houston, Texas. Please remember her and her family in your prayers at this difficult time.
Funeral arrangements include visitation at Dettling Funeral Home, 14094 Memorial Drive, Houston,Texas on Thursday, March 7th, from 6-8PM, with the rosary being said at 7PM.
The funeral Mass will be said at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 625 Nottingham Oaks, Houston, Texas on Friday, March 8th at 10:30PM.
A funeral service will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in High Hill, Texas on Saturday, March 9th, at 10AM. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.

March 9th..Saturday…10 a.m. service at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in High Hill, Texas, burial following at the cemetery.

I heard today that Bonnie Winkler, class of ’66 passed away last night…I do not have any more details…..when I get details, I will post them…..if anyone has any info please let us know…she was one of my very best friends in high school…I was able to get connected with her after several years just within the last year…I am very grateful for that. -Molly Barta Vickers

The BFH alumni were saddened to hear of the death of Kelly Sartain, husband of Doris Hollas Sartain of the class of 1966, on December 30, 2012. “Coach Sartain” as he was known by many BFH graduates began his career at St. Rose School in Schulenburg, Texas and later transferred to Bishop Forest High School where he was a coach and taught many students. Doris and Kelly Sartain lived in Schulenburg where they made their home. Kelly is survived by his wife Doris, one daughter, Stacy and Gene Sugg of The Woodlands and two sons, Scott and Wendy Sartain of Angleton, and Steven and Jenny Sartain of Pearland. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, one sister, Lynn and Doug Roberts of Bellville, and his father in law, Eugene Hollas of Schulenburg.
Visitation and rosary were held on Friday, January 4th in Schulenburg. Funeral services were held at St. Rose Catholic Church at 11AM on Saturday, January 5th. Interment was in the St. Rose Catholic Cemetery in Schulenburg.
Fellow BFH alumni are asked to keep Kelly, Doris and the Sartain family in their thoughts prayers during this special time.
